Textured Ring + Bar Pendant + Layered Two-Tone Earrings
*Class projects subject to change. Instructor will offer alternative projects (using the same techniques) to students who have previously taken Level One to allow them to continue to hone these skills.
Over a 5 week period, Students make a ring, a pendant and a pair of earrings. They will learn the following during these projects:
Materials for one sterling silver ring, and copper and brass for the other projects are included in the class fee. *If student wishes to work exclusively in sterling silver, there will be additional material fees.
Prerequisite: No experience needed.
Students will be introduced to the basics of silversmithing, and once this level one course has been completed, students may graduate to any of our level two classes.

Due to the small class sizes and demand for each seat, if you are unable to attend a class for any reason, please notify us as soon as possible to allow another student to register for the class. If you are sick or have been exposed to COVID, please DO NOT come to class!
Please note, we cannot offer refunds for student cancellations, but we can offer credit to be applied toward a future workshop based on the time frame in which you have notified us of your cancellation.
Low-Enrollment Cancellation:
Workshop cancellations are decided three days before the start date. In the rare event that MAKE MADE must cancel a workshop due to insufficient enrollment, currently enrolled students will have the option to have the entire class fee refunded or held as credit for future workshops.
Mar 30 - May 4 : Intermediate / Advanced Stone Setting - Level Two Course - Session 5 - evening class

March 30 - May 11 (no class 4/13 & 5/4)
Intermediate / Advanced Stone Setting
This Level Two course will cover more advanced bezel setting techniques for cabochons as well as basic tube setting faceted stones.
Materials are not included and material fees will be assessed during class, and are based on individual student's metal choices and project requirements. We will have raw materials for purchase onsite, or you're welcome to bring your own.
Prerequisite: This class is designed for students who have already familiarized themselves with the basics of metalsmithing and stone setting -- having completed at least one Level One Course at MAKE MADE or equivalent experience via Make + Sip Courses or other courses taught by Danielle or Katie.

Sept 7 - Oct 5 : Swivel Locket - Level Two Course - evening class

SWIVEL LOCKETS
In this course, students will learn how to fabricate a simple locket and/or small box. Students will learn how to use the circle cutters, dapping punches and more advanced fabrication and soldering techniques. Simple hinge making and locking mechanisms will also be taught in this class.
Materials are not included and material fees will be assessed during class, and is based on individual student's metal choices and project requirements. We will have raw materials for purchase onsite, or you're welcome to bring your own.
