Danielle Miller Gilliam teaching

 Danielle Miller Gilliam

  • has worked for over 20 years as a production studio jeweler, selling to galleries and shops across the country

Katie Poterala

  • is a studio artist who specializes in casting, stone setting, and sculptural and textural, organic techniques in metal
  • has worked as a bench jeweler for over 5 years, as a professional studio artist for over 11, and has shown with galleries and shows across the country and abroad
  • has taught both beginner and specialized courses at Winthrop University and Arizona State University
  • has taught classes and workshops at Central Piedmont Community College, Tryon Arts and Crafts,  in her private studio, and has assisted with classes at Arrowmont and the Mint Museum
  • has exhibited extensively: in Sieraad (Amsterdam), Artisphere, and other craft shows; at Racine Art Museum, Velvet Da Vinci Gallery,  J Cotter Gallery, Mesa Arts Center,  Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport Museum, and College of the Albemarle - to name a few
  • has been published in American Craft Magazine, Metalsmith Magazine, Showcase: 500 Rings, and Showcase: 500 Necklaces
