Bezels and Prong Set Cabochons
This Level Two course will continue to cover the basics of silversmithing and jewelry design/fabrication. We will cover basic forming, soldering, bezel making and setting, simple prongs, and liver of sulfur patinas. Students will have the opportunity to work in copper, brass, and/or sterling silver.
Materials are not included and material fees will be assessed during class, and is based on individual student's metal choices and project requirements. We will have raw materials for purchase onsite, or you're welcome to bring your own.
Prerequisite: This class is designed for students who have already familiarized themselves with the basics of metalsmithing -- having completed at least one Level One Course at MAKE MADE or equivalent experience via Make + Sip Courses or other courses taught by Danielle or Katie.
Workshop Cancellation Policy:
Due to the small class sizes and demand for each seat, if you are unable to attend a class for any reason, please notify us as soon as possible to allow another student to register for the class.
Please note, we cannot offer refunds for student cancellations, but we can offer credit to be applied toward a future workshop based on the time frame in which you have notified us of your cancellation.
Workshop cancellations are decided three days before the start date. In the rare event that MAKE MADE must cancel a workshop due to insufficient enrollment, currently enrolled students will have the option to have the entire class fee refunded or held as credit for future workshops.
